I am having a birthday party, when should my guests and I arrive?

At least 30 to 45 minutes prior to your party time.  Your party time is the actual time you begin to play.  If you arrive late and we are fully booked we will only be able to allow you on the field during the designated time of your reservation, no exceptions.  To make your birthday event the best possible experience, please arrive early and we will process all the players and get your party on the field on time for play.

If my party is 2 hours, how much time is on the field?

1 hour and 30 minutes is field time.  The pace of play depends on the children at  the birthday.  Some want many breaks and some do not.  We let you establish the pace of play.  The last 30 minutes of your 2 hour birthday time is for you to open gifts, serve cake, eat pizza, etc.  If we are fully booked, we will ask that the hospitality area be cleared to prepare for the next group.  If you are not done or waiting for parents to pick up, you are welcome to move to other picnic tables near the registration office.

Is there somewhere to put the cake and sit?  Is food allowed?

When you schedule a party you are seated in our hospitality area which consists of an exclusive netted area with 3 picnic tables.  This area is directly adjacent to the arena the kids play in, so you see them the entire time.  You are welcome to bring cake and drinks.  Outside food is not permitted.  We do have pizza available for purchase.  Please give the staff your pizza order during registration.

How long does registration take?

Depends on the day and the time of arrival.  You can help speed up the process by having all of your players present at the time of registration, all the waivers filled out completely and one person making the payment at the cash register.  Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes early so that we are on schedule and can optimize your time with us.

Where can I get a waiver to fill out?

Waivers are at the registration office, they are on-line at www.jungle-island.com under the “park info” tab and they are sent electronically with your confirmation when you book on-line.  We also suggest placing a copy of the waiver with your invitations, this helps get them filled out and returned to you in advance.

How do I make a reservation?

You make a reservation by going on-line to www.jungle-island.com and clicking on the link in the top right hand corner that reads “click here to book a reservation”.  Reservations are required for birthday packages and a $100.00 deposit is required to secure your reservation.  The on-line booking will direct you to pay pal to make the deposit.  If a deposit is not made at the time of booking your reservation is not complete and the spots could fill up in the meantime.

What do I wear to play?

Long sleeves, pants and boots are a good choice for clothing.    We provide the face mask and vests.

Is there food available at the park?

Yes.  There is a snack bar (with reasonable prices) and the park orders pizza for lunch.  At registration please let the staff know if you will be ordering pizza as it is ordered in advance.

What time do you close?

The last game and park close at 4:00 p.m.

Can tips be given to our referee?

Yes, tips are very much appreciated.  If your referee does a great job for you, a tip is a great way to let him know.  And if your experience was great, write us a review on Yelp.
