Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I reserved a party package, when should my guests and I arrive?
A. At least 30 to 45 minutes prior to your reservation time.  Your reservation time is the actual time you begin to play.  If you arrive late we will only be able to allow you on the field during your designated reservation time, no exceptions.  To make your birthday event the best possible experience, please arrive early and we will process all the players and get your party on the field to play.

Q. If my party is 2 hours, how much time is on the field?
A. Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes is field time.  The pace of play depends on the players.  Some want many breaks and some do not.  Its your event so we let you establish the pace of play.  The last 30 minutes of your 2 hour package is for you to open gifts, serve cake, eat pizza, etc.

Q. Can we play the last 30 minutes instead of having party time?
A. No.

Q. Can we extend our time on the field
A. Yes.  Preferably you will indicate that on your reservation so we can schedule accordingly.  There is a $50 charge for each additional 30 minutes.  If you ask for extra time the day of, we may or may not be able to accomodate depending on the schedule and available staff.

Q. Is there somewhere to put the cake and sit?  Is food allowed?
A. There are covered picnic tables throughout the park.  You can set up where you like.  We do have a VIP area, first come first serve basis.  Since we try to get the kids to play on a couple of different fields you may or may not be near the playing area.  You can always ask registration for guidance if you have questions.  If you want a designated area for your group, you can always rent out the party room.   You are welcome to bring cake and drinks.  Outside deliveries and food trucks are not permitted.  We do pre-order pizza so we will need to know in advance if you willbe ordering pizza for your group.

Q. How long does registration take?
A. Depends on the day and the time of your arrival.  You can help speed up the process by having all of your players arrive on time, all the waivers filled out completely before coming up to the registration window and one person making the payment at the register.  Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes early so that we are on schedule and can optimize your time with us.

Q. Where can I get a waiver to fill out?
A. Waivers are at the registration office, they are on-line at www.jungle-island.com under the “park info” tab/liability waiver and they are sent electronically with your confirmation email, page 2, when you book on-line.  We also suggest placing a copy of the waiver with your invitations, this helps get them filled out and returned to you in advance.

Q. How do I make a reservation?  Do I have to make a reservation?
A. You make a reservation by going on-line to www.jungle-island.com Click on “Pick & Play A Game”  Select the game you are interested in .  The pricing will be at the bottom of screen.  Click on “Book Game” it will take you to a reservation screen.   Reservations are required for birthday packages and a $100.00 deposit is required to secure your reservation.  The on-line booking will direct you to pay pal to make the deposit.  If a deposit is not made at the time of booking your reservation is not complete and the spots may fill up in the meantime.

Q. Is the deposit non-refundable?
A. Yes and No.  If you cancel or reschedule your reservation with more than 48 hour notice then we will be happy to accomodate you.  If you give us less than 48 hours notice then the deposit becomes non-refundable.
